Serendipity7

I have a background in education, a B.A. in Elementary Education and M.S in Curriculum and Instruction.  My greatest teachers have been all of the children I have been blessed to know, including my own 5 children (3 girls and 2 boys), my grandchildren (4 girls and 1 boy), and my numerous students, from pre-k through middle school.    

I'm a very curious person, children being one of the prime motivators,.as they continue to remind me to continuously take the time to stop, look, observe, question, learn, explore, laugh and enjoy each and every day. 

My interests are varied and ever changing, as is my life. I've experienced the loss of my husband, understand the trials and tribulations of single parenting, have had children involved in what seems to be every activity imaginable, which include sports (baseball, football, lacrosse, hockey, soccer, ice skating, snowboarding, skateboarding, inline skating, skiing), scouting,  dance, music (piano, violin, drums, guitar, French horn) and art.  I'm an expert on lists, planning, organization and pulling rabbits out of the hat.  

I'm a HUGE baseball fan, with my favorite player being my 15 year old son.  He has traveled far and wide playing with his traveling teams.  

I've always enjoyed writing and hope to share with you some of the wonderful discoveries I've made along the way.
